Driza-Bone Heavyweight Wax:
The heavyweight wax is a 12oz. fabric made from 100% cotton and is impregnated with a wax compound. This fabric is extremely warm, wind breaking and highly water repellent. Hats can be re-oiled with Driza Bone Garment Dressing when necessary to maximise use and maintain water repellence.

The best way to measure your head size, is to measure the internal circumference of a good fitting hat - if you do not have a hat to compare sizes with, we recommend to measure the circumference of your head, where the hat would sit (just above your ears). It is important to remember when measuring your head to allow a little extra for comfort, so that the hat is not too tight.

As a general rule of thumb, the leather hats do come up slightly larger than the wax hats and so we recommend to order the smaller of two sizes if you are between two.
